The Remembrance Museum of Land of Oświęcim Residents warmly invites those of you unable to attend in person to participate live in the conference entitled “Awit Szubert – a multidimensional photographer from Oświęcim”.
Livestream begins at 12:00 pm on April 18th April (Tuesday) at www.muzeumpamieci.pl.

The program includes:
Lecture – Awit Szubert’s Oświęcim and Krakow atelier Speaker: Katarzyna Marko, curator of the Walery Rzewuski Museum of Photography in Krakow
Lecture – Awit Szubert – the first photographer of the Wieliczka mine Speaker: Dr. Barbara Konwerska, deputy director for science and research at the Krakow Saltworks Museum Wieliczka
Lecture – Awit Szubert’s Szczawnica atelier Speaker: Barbara Węglarz, curator of the District Museum in Nowy Sącz, head of the Józef Szalay branch of the Pieniny Museum in Szlachtowa near Szczawnica
The conference is accompanied by a temporary exhibition which is open until the end of May. It features photographs, postcards and heliogravures by Awit Szubert from the Remembrance Museum collection.
