From May to October 2025, we invite you to three training sessions on the Standards for the Child Protection Standards, organized at the Remembrance Museum of the Land of Oświęcim Residents. The second training session, entitled “Boundaries of Cooperation. Educator–Parent Relations”, will take place on September 22, 2025, from 10:00 to 15:00. Registration is available via the form (registration link below). The number of places is limited.
Training: “Boundaries of Cooperation. Educator–Parent Relations”
Every experience at home, in school, or within a peer group can influence a young person’s development—positively or negatively. We, as adults, by creating a network of cooperation, can strengthen empowering experiences and act as a buffer against difficult ones. How should we respond when we see unacceptable parental behavior? How can we provide feedback about the challenges faced by children and youth? What should we do when emotions escalate and facts get mixed with opinions?
Topics addressed during the training
During the meeting we will discuss issues such as:
- facts versus opinions,
- the structure of feedback,
- boundaries in crisis situations.

Training Cycle on the Child Protection Standards in Małopolska
The trainings are organized thanks to the cooperation of the museum with the Małopolska Institute of Culture in Kraków. They are addressed primarily to employees of cultural institutions working with minors, particularly those responsible for implementing and upholding the Child Protection Standards. The first training session, entitled “Child Protection Standards: How to Wisely Prevent Child Abuse in Cultural Institutions?”, took place on June 23, 2025, and was led by psychologist Weronika Potaczek.
