Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or any of their elements. You can also request information by alternative means, for example, by reading an inaccessible document aloud or describing the content of a video without audio description.
The request should include the contact details of the requesting person, an indication of the page or application concerned, and a preferred contact method.
If the person requests access to information by an alternative means, they should also specify the preferred form of presenting the information.
The public entity should fulfill the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the entity will inform the requester when the request will be fulfilled. This period cannot be longer than 2 months.
If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may offer an alternative form of access to the information.
If the entity refuses to comply with the request for accessibility or alternative access, the requester may submit a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or their elements.

Architectural Accessibility
The **Remembrance Museum of Land of Oświęcim Residents**, hereinafter referred to as the Museum, is located in a three-storey building in Oświęcim at Maksymiliana Kolbego 2a Street.
- Bus stops are located near the Museum:
- Approximately 300 meters from the main entrance on Kolbego Street,
- Approximately 150 meters from the main entrance on Leszczyńska Street.
- Access to the Museum grounds is via gates located on Kolbego and Leszczyńska Streets.
- Parking spaces for people with disabilities are located on the west and south sides of the building and are marked with vertical and horizontal signs.
- The main entrance to the Museum is on the north side. Access is via stairs with handrails on both sides and a ramp with handrails for wheelchair users. The glass doors open outward and do not have contrasting markings. The area in front of the building is adapted for wheelchair users.
- Inside the building, to the left of the entrance hall, there is a security station and a ticket office with counters at different heights, adapted for wheelchair users.
- To the right of the entrance hall, there is an information board indicating the locations of facilities such as toilets, cloakrooms, elevators, and the exhibition route.
- The staff entrance on the west side of the building is not adapted for wheelchair users. The single-wing doors open inward, do not have contrasting markings, and are equipped with a door closer and access control system.
- An additional exit to the Museum terrace is located on the south side of the building. Access is via stairs. This entrance is not adapted for people with mobility impairments.
- The educational trail on the Museum’s grounds is adapted for people with disabilities, including wheelchair users.
- The exhibition inside the Museum building has been adapted for people with disabilities:
- a) Special tactile paths for visually impaired visitors are marked with raised points on the floor. They lead through exhibitions on floors 0, 1, and 2 and to toilets, a café, and the main exit.
- b) An accessible toilet for people with disabilities is available, equipped with appropriate handles and an emergency call system.
- c) An elevator on the ground floor enables movement between all floors. It is adapted for people with disabilities, including wheelchair users. The elevator has a control panel with Braille markings, a screen displaying the current floor, and voice announcements about the floor number and door status.
Besides the elevator, the building does not have other Braille markings or enlarged print signage for the visually impaired.
- d) For visitors with hearing impairments, the exhibition can be visited using an audioguide that offers:
- sign language presentation of the exhibition,
- signal amplification through an induction loop system.
- Visitors are allowed to enter the Museum with an assistance dog or guide dog.
- There is no staff member available on-site who communicates using sign language.
