On 9th September, young people had the opportunity to try their hand at making model planes in a workshop held by Mr. Łukasz Fuczek as part of the educational session “Stars over Oświęcim.” Ten-year-old pupil from Primary School Nr. 1 Mateusz Daczyński as well as VIII class pupils from Primary School Nr. 2 in Brzeszcze took part, supervised by Jolanta Hodur and Agata Dziubek.
The children were challenged to make a model of planes used in World War II. In spite of the great enthusiasm and hard work, they were unable to complete the planes during the workshop, so took them home to finish off. Here, we proudly present photos of the completed planes which we have just been sent!
Well done all of you! We look forward to seeing more of your planes! The prize? An educational trip organised by our Museum to the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow!
