A video recording of our gathering “Stars over Oświęcim” is available to watch on our website.
The educational session, organised by the Remembrance Museum of Land of Oświęcim Residents, was held in the Audiovisual hall of the Sports and Technical High School on Bema street in town. Dr Krzysztof Mroczkowski, vice-director of the Museum of Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow as well as Marcin Dziubek, historian and President of the Bielany Landlovers Association addressed the audience, speaking, among other topics, of where the Americans flying over Poland came from and how the Germans defended themselves against air raids.
An important part of the session was a model making workshop for young people run by Łukasz Fuczk from the Modelling Club “Orzeł” (Eagle) in Przeciszów.
