The Board of the Małopolska Region has announced a competition for the position of Director of the cultural institution – The Remembrance Museum of the Land of Oświęcim.
The current term of appointment of Ms. Dorota Mleczko as Director of the Museum will expire on 31 May 2026. The Remembrance Museum of the Land of Oświęcim is a regional cultural institution of the Małopolska Region, jointly administered with the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
By Resolution No. 2914/25 of 23 December 2025, the Board of the Małopolska Region decided to select a candidate for the position of Museum Director through an open competition.
Applications, including a formal request to participate in the competition and all required documents, must be submitted by 9 March 2026. Submissions should be placed in a sealed envelope marked: “Do not open. Competition for the position of Director of The Remembrance Museum of the Land of Oświęcim” and delivered to the Registry Office of the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region, Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (56 Racławicka Street, Kraków), or sent by post to: Department of Culture and National Heritage Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region 56 Racławicka Street 30-017 Kraków
The date of receipt of the application shall be decisive. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
