Court Dances and Calligraphy – Workshops at the Remembrance Museum

The Remembrance Museum of the Land of Oświęcim Residents invites young people to participate in two free workshops from the series “The Millennium of the Polish Crown – from Legends to Traditions.” It is an excellent opportunity to experience history in practice: to discover old courtly customs and try your hand at calligraphy using traditional tools.

Workshop 1:

Court Dances — Learn Old Customs

An introduction to medieval customs, basics of court dances, etiquette, and court culture, presented in an accessible and practical way.

September 27, 2025 (Saturday), 10:00 – 12:00 Age group: 12–14 Registration deadline: September 24, 2025

Workshop 2:

Calligraphy — The Art of Beautiful Writing

Interesting facts about the history of writing and calligraphy exercises with historical writing tools.The workshop will be led by the group “We Present History.”

October 11, 2025 (Saturday), 10:00 – 12:00 Age group: 15–18 Registration deadline: October 6, 2025

Location: The Remembrance Museum of the Land of Oświęcim Residents, 2A Maksymiliana Kolbego St., Oświęcim

PLEASE NOTE! A surprise gift for participants — a calligraphy tool set! The works created during the workshop will be exhibited in the museum, so we encourage you to join the workshop!
