We invite you to a special workshop for adults titled “Help Had a Woman’s Face.” During the event, we will learn about the stories of women who, during the difficult times of the German occupation, were actively involved in helping prisoners of KL Auschwitz. We will present the profiles of four heros from the Oświęcim region: Janina Kajtoch from Babice, Maria Bobrzecka from Brzeszcze, Helena Stupka from Oświęcim, and Helena Płotnicka from Przecieszyn.

During the workshop, participants will also create graphics with images of these above-mentioned remarkable women. The event is organized as part of the Women’s Year, established by the Oświęcim City Council.

The workshop will take place on May 20, 2025, at 5:30 PM, at the museum’s headquarters. The number of places is limited. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The workshop is free of charge.

📆 Registration is open until May 16, 2025.
