To mark the first anniversary of its activities in the new building, the Remembrance Museum is pleased to invite you to a musical surprise in its “Musically Historically” series. Marta Wilk – vocalist, theatre and musical stage artist – will perform at 5pm on 7th May in the conference room of the museum.

Marta Wilk graduated with honours from the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. After graduation, she worked with many philharmonics and orchestras in Poland and abroad, performing mezzo-soprano parts.

In 2000, she joined the Teatr Rozrywki in Chorzow. There she had the opportunity to tackle a wide musical repertoire, taking part in many musical productions such as “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Rocky Horror Show”, “Evita”, “Cabaret”, “Dyzma”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and others.

She is the winner of many festivals, including First Prize at the French Song Festival, Prize at the Anna German Festival, and a finalist at the Agnieszka Osiecka Festival

In 2021, she released her first album “Swing&Musical forever,” which is the result of her fascination with swing in musical literature.

For more than 20 years she has been involved in pedagogy. She conducts vocal workshops throughout Poland. Currently, she is a teacher at State Music School PSM Kutno, as well as a senior lecturer at the Academy of Music in Lódź – Department of Musicals.
