The fourth-ever calendar published by the Remembrance Museum features on its pages profiles of 12 heroes associated with the Land of Oświęcim. 

We published our first ever calendar in 2021 and the 2022 publication with the figures of 13 people particularly meritorious in helping KL Auschwitz prisoners and in the struggle against the Nazi Germans was very popular.

This time the outstanding figures presented are:

Maria Hajdo (married name Wieliczko) – March

Józefa Hatłas (married name Handzlik) – April

Andrzej Harat – May

Władysława Harat (married name Rzepecka) – June

Jan Jakuczek – July

Maksymilian Niezgoda – September

Helena Stupka – October

Marian Zieliński – November

Zofia Szewczyk (married name Zużałek) – December

The wall-mounted calendar, printed in A3 format on thick, chalky paper, is available in the shop located on the first floor of the Remembrance Museum of Land of Oświęcim Residents at 2A Kolbego Street in Oświęcim and costs 15 zlotys. The store also sells books, albums, notebooks and pens with the museum’s logo, as well as magnets, mugs and coasters with drawings depicting the most beautiful palaces and castles of the Land of Oświęcim. Currently, the shop is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:45am to 3pm. Closed on Monday.
