The Remembrance Museum organized a free workshop on Saturday for anyone interested in taking photographs and photographic creativity. Twenty-six people honed their skills in the museum’s interiors.

The workshop was led by Michal Leja, a photographer who focuses on documenting everyday life as well as creative and street photography. Michal Leja has cooperated with the Nikon Academy for many years, where he runs training courses. He has held many group exhibitions and individual multimedia presentations.

During the class, the presenter talked about various aspects of working with cameras, including those in smartphones. He pointed out, for example, the basic skills of setting the ISO value, aperture and exposure time correctly, as well as improving technical skills. Participants also had the opportunity to practise choosing the right lighting for the subject being photographed. The modern exhibition space of the Remembrance Museum was used as an on-site location – providing many opportunities for the creation of frames, but also posing a great challenge for photographers in many places.
