A warm invite to Cracow Philharmonic’s concert ‘From Vienna to Budapest’.

We welcomed the year 2024 with a concert entitled ‘With Music into the New Year’ at The Remembrance Museum. Meanwhile, another edition of the Culture for Seniors programme, organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region, has begun, which aims to promote high culture in towns and cities throughout Małopolska.

As part of the programme, we are pleased to invite classical music lovers to a concert entitled “From Vienna to Budapest” which will take place at 5 p.m. on 6 February 2024 in the Libiaż Cultural Centre at 1 Górnicza Street.

The repertoire includes music by outstanding representatives of Austrian and Hungarian music of the 18th and 19th centuries. The concert will include works by Johann Strauss II, excerpts from operettas by Imre Kalman and Franz Lehar, or unforgettable pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart such as ‘La ci darem la mano’, ‘Non piu andrai’ and the Queen of the Night Aria from the opera ‘The Magic Flute’.

Outstanding Artists of the Cracow Philharmonic will ensure a wonderful performance of music of the Viennese masters:
